A History of Excellence in Criminal Justice Education
Delivered entirely online, the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (BSCJ) program is flexible to fit the busy lifestyles of working adults. You will never need to come to campus, though of course you are welcome to visit, and you can log in whenever you choose to access course lectures and materials. Regardless of whether you’re a human services counselor, a police officer assigned to third shift, or making a career change to the criminal justice field, this program can accommodate your unique schedule.
The BSCJ program provides students in-depth knowledge of the many facets of criminal justice, including law, psychology, community relations, corrections, and investigation. To maintain a relevant curriculum, UW-Platteville consults an advisory board that consists of members from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI); the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF); the Department of Justice; and police chiefs.
As a student in the BSCJ program, you benefit from
- Instruction by expert faculty with both professional experience and academic credentials
- Networking opportunities with criminal justice professionals across the nation
- Preparation for leadership positions
